Brief description
The LN4053 is a USB Type-C DFP charging controller IC with BC1.2 D+/D- recognition. It supports 1.5A/3A charging currents and consumes as low as 3mW of static power during normal operation, featuring high reliability and simple peripherals, and is available in a compact DFN8L 3*3mm package.

Supports Apple USB DCP charging standard (supports D+/D- applying 2.7V, charging current up to 2.4A, backward compatible with 2.1A/1A format)
Supports Samsung DCP charging standard (supports D+/D- applying 1.2V, charging current up to 2A)
Supports external current limit switch enable control (selectable high or low level active)
Supports direct drive of external PMOS switches (with over-current detection protection)
Static power consumption as low as 3mW during normal operation
Compact DFN8L 3*3mm package size
